We are very lucky with our location, we may be small but we have lots of space! We have identified areas within the School that we can plant, mainly on borders against fences.
This means people can have access when we are closed. There are 5 raised beds within the grounds that we are going to devote to herb growing, this is excellent for the children as they will experience the smells whilst planting, parents will be able to collect herbs whilst collecting Children.
We also have tremendous support from our local allotment, where we already have a huge polytunnel, that has provided us with produce for a number of years. We are luckly as we also have support the the Council Sustainable Development Officer
